Equipable Asset

An equipable asset is an unofficial term for assets that can be inserted in a character avatar's equipment slots to provide different utilities to the character or just cosmetic improvements to the avatar.

Slot use

Depending on which equipment slot they use, equipable assets can be categories as:

Equiplable Asset Type Character Slot Description
Headwear (Hat, Head Device, Helmet) Head Provides stat bonuses or utilities (headlamp, etc.);
Outfit (Casual Outfit; Combat Outfit) Outfit Provides stat bonuses and expands character storage;
Footwear (Casual Footwear; Combat Footwear) Feet Provides stat bonuses or utilities;
Wristwear Wrist
Pack (Backpacks, Jetpacks) Pack Provides expanded storage and flight;
??? Accessories Provide a boost or ability;
Tools Tools Provide access to gathering or crafting mechanics;
Gun Weapon (Assault Rifle, Machinegun, Marksman, Submachinegun, Shotgun) Primary Weapon Provide access to combat game mechanics;
Gun Weapon (Pistol) Secondary Weapon Provide access to combat game mechanics;
Consumable (Drink; Food; Medi-kit) Consumables Replenishes Health, Satiety, Hydration stats;

Permanent/Consumable

Equipable assets, depending on availability after use can be:

  • Permanent: The item is not consumed after use;
  • Consumable: The item is consumed after use;
